Who is responsible

Clearview Limited (trading as SellSignal) is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@sellsignal.co.uk.

What we collect about customers and visitors

When you subscribe: your email address and the sector(s) you buy, the subscription status Stripe reports to us, and the date of each event. Card details are collected and held by Stripe, not by us. When you ask to be told a sector has freed up: your email address and the sector. When you email us: what you send. When you visit the site: ordinary server logs (IP address, pages, time) held by our hosting provider; we do not run advertising trackers.

Why, and on what basis

To provide the service you bought and deliver your lists (performance of a contract); to tell you when a sector you asked about becomes available (your request); to keep records of payments (legal obligation); and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest). We do not sell personal data or send marketing you have not asked for.

Who we share it with

Service providers acting on our instructions: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (file storage). Some of these process data outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards. We do not share customer data with other customers.

How long we keep it

Subscription records for six years after the subscription ends, for tax and accounting. Watchlist emails until the sector frees up or you ask us to remove you. Server logs for a short rolling period set by the provider.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for corrections, for deletion where we no longer need it, or object to a use. Email hello@sellsignal.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

About the property data in the lists

The lists contain property addresses and attributes drawn from public registers (HM Land Registry, Energy Performance Certificates, the London Gazette) together with statistical estimates we derive from them. They do not contain homeowners' names. When a customer uses a list to contact homeowners, the customer is the controller for that activity and responsible for complying with data-protection and marketing law.
